Chain Collaboration

Closing the circle hinges on good chain cooperation. If all parties involved contribute to value retention of products and used materials, all parties can also achieve economic value. New preconditions are needed for optimal circular chain cooperation. These range from building a common vocabulary to exchanging information about the different phases in a product life cycle. Or from arranging logistics processes to distributing available value.

A circular way of working works best when all parties in a chain participate. Especially in sectors where the post-use value of products or materials is limited, such cooperation is essential. This can be driven by regulations or started independently by sectors. In any case, it is important that everyone - from raw material suppliers to end users to collection and processing parties - gets on board. And we are looking further. To cooperation outside the chain. Because parties from other sectors can often contribute to circular innovations as well.

Cooperation requires openness and the will to take on new responsibilities. But how do you realize that? On this page you will find insights about and experiences with setting up collaboration inside and outside the chain.
